THE THROWBACK MERLIES: COSTUME SHOWCASE

The Merlies are going to be a little different this year. As part of the Evening Program on Friday May 19, we will include a "runway" show of cosplay outfits from MISTI-Cons past as well as new creations. Cosplay need not be hand-made, but should at the very least be adjacent to the Wizarding world. Deadline for sign-up is Friday May 12. The Evening Program and the Throwback Merlies will be at 8 PM in the Ballroom. All participants will gather for a quick rehearsal at 7 PM. Please only sign up if you can be at rehearsal at 7 PM and in-cosutme/stage-ready by 8 PM. Please note, you will not receive a physical award, but you are encouraged to ham-it-up on stage for the cameras. Lip sync battle

The Lip Sync Battle will be incorporated into the Friday Evening Featured Program in the ballroom. Join host CC Cool Cissa Malfoy as contestants “battle” for the proverbial crown in this not-to-be-missed performance.
Back in Blackstone: Wizard Rock Show

Wizard Rock returns to MISTI-Con on Saturday with Hawthorn and Holly, Dream Quaffle, and Kalysta Flame! Get ready to wrock out with your wand out!
Decadedance: the ball

Put your wands up and get down to the dance hits of yesterday and today at DECADEDANCE, the Ball at MISTI-Con 2023! On Sunday night, DJ Swish will spin tunes that'll have you swinging, boogying, twisting, and shouting. Come to the ballroom dressed in anything! And we do mean, anything! From your finest wizarding robes, to vintage club couture from decades gone by, to chic timeless looks, or fabulous cosplay. Or just show up in something casual and comfy enough for cutting a rug all night! Let's celebrate a decade of MISTI-Con with a decadent evening of dancing.
